Is manifesting real?
Published February 5, 2026

So books about manifesting and the law of attraction have been popular for decades. The different authors have all had their particular spin on our ability to create our lives.
What most have tended to gloss over is that for most people, most of the time, manifesting seems so difficult as to be unbelievable. Which is why for a lot of people it falls solidly in the land of "woo".
Manifesting is real. It's not necessarily fast for most people.
This is the big challenge. There is typically a time gap between intention and results which leads to most people giving up. They read the book, lose interest and then go back to their lives. Manifesting simply isn't meant for the instant gratification masses.
But if you're reading this that means you know better. So don't give up.
You're always manifesting
In reality, everyone is manifesting all the time, based on their internal level of vibration. What the "get rich quick" manifestation teachers don't always talk about are the many ways that we're resonating in fear. So we're manifesting perfectly - just from our fears and not from what we're truly desiring. This is where Joe Dispenza tells his followers to achieve a state of "heighten emotions" in his guided meditations. And this is great, but at the end of a day, for most people, it may not be enough. If you're in "joy mode" for 15 minutes and "I hate my life mode" the rest of the time, which vibration do you think is going to win?
So what can I do?
In my experience there's no substitute for:
- Healing the fear.
- Letting go of expectation about timing.
- Enjoy the ride.
