Star Power

As I set the intention to grow my online presence, I ask myself the question, "what is star power"? What sets the stars apart from ordinary mortals?

From a conventional standpoint many would say that these are people that were born with some form of extraordinary talent. They're simply better than others at something: cooking, driving race cars, singing, politics or any other area of life where we perceive people as stars.

Many would say the hard work makes the star, subscribing to the often quoted 10,000 hours rule - the idea being that after a certain amount of work you've achieved mastery.

But from the perspective of metaphysics and manifestation- where you're inner state must be mirrored by the outer world things are much simpler. If you truly believe you're a star then the universe must mirror that back to you.

This puts the 10,000 hours in context. After a certain amount of hard work the mind is ready to accept that you could be great at something. Or with respect to talent, if you're told from a young age that you're talented at something, the odds are much greater that you will believe in that talent and ultimately manifest becoming great at demonstrating that talent.

So my question is whether there's not in fact a shortcut? Can you convince yourself that you're a star when the outer world hasn't yet reflected that reality?

What I'm realizing is that your level of inner confidence may actually be more important than everything else. Now, confidence without talent isn't entirely comfortable. But what if the confidence will actually manifest the talent? What if I trust that the universe will manifest the talent within me if I set the intention to become a star?

I'm in the process of testing this with my focus on creating my social media stardom. Check back and see if it comes true. Assuming this works it truly means you can manifest anything if you truly believe it to be your reality.

And maybe think about an area of your life in which you'd like to become very successful- can you adopt the inner reality and bring about the outer manifestation?
