Does Spirituality Need to be Dumbed Down?

As I create the content for this website I'm faced with a question. Do I express what I truly believe or do I put on my marketing hat and seek to make my message palatable for a general audience? Will more people come for some form of manifestation coaching or other forms of spiritual get rich quick schemes and then become attracted to a deeper message? For many people yoga, meditation, crystals, incence, magic and manifestation are gateways to discover deeper truths and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

And while I myself have experimented with many things, time and again I've found myself drawn back to Jesus' teachings. Not Christianity but a modern interpretation of his teachings, what I like to call Jesus 3.0. My soul has desired truth and found it there. The Christ Letters, A Course in Miracles, The Way of Mastery and the website Jeshua.net have become my canon even while I still find inspiration in the Old and New Testament from time to time. At times I have drawn inspiration from the Summit Lighthouse, Raphael's Healing Space, Eckhart Tolle, Joe Dispenza, Deepak Chopra and other resources as well.

My soul has an insaciable appetite for truth, in a world gone (mostly) insane in has been the lifeblood for my belief that a healthier, happier existence is possible. These books and teachings have led me to a conclusion, there there is one fundamental truth shared by many religions and spiritual traditions- that every human is a multi-dimensional, divine being learning to become a powerful creator.

Without this fundamental truth, any attempts at personal growth are deeply flawed. As long as you believe that you are a victim of a difficult, hostile environment then that is what you will experience. You may manifest a million dollars but you will still be living in the "matrix", disconnected from the truth of being that your soul really desires.

So no, I don't feel a need to dumb down anything, I trust that those people who resonate with my teaching will naturally find me and those persons that resonate with other teachings will find what's best for them.
